Wapera helps you protect, restore, and respond to your messages. It creates on-device backups from chat exports or screenshots, lets you recover deleted messages when possible, start chats without saving contacts, and draft AI-powered replies.
Wapera runs on iOS and iPadOS. Your backups stay on your device, so you can access them locally.
Choose Auto Backup to import a .zip chat export or Screenshot Backup to save conversation images. Wapera stores the backup locally and lets you preview, rename, export, or delete it.
Wapera supports .zip chat exports for searchable backups and screenshot sets for image-only backups. A text chat file enables previews.
Recovery Mode can restore deleted messages when a matching backup exists. If there is no backup, recovery isn't possible.

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. Open Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions to change, pause, or cancel Wapera Pro. Changes apply at the end of the current billing period.
Make sure the correct backup exists and was imported. If the messages are not in any backup, they cannot be recovered. Contact Support if you need help.
Wapera saves backups locally on your device. You can export or delete them from the app.
Export the full chat with text included, keep the .zip unmodified, and avoid truncated exports.
Recovery depends on existing backups. Create backups regularly for the best chance to recover messages.
No. Wapera keeps your original chats unchanged and creates separate backups.
The AI Reply Assistant provides suggested replies only; you are responsible for reviewing and sending any message.
Check your connection while sharing the export, retry with a smaller file, and keep the app open during import. If it still fails, contact Support.
